Help please. Just connected to TT and did some sort of major upgrade which removed all my favs etc. I have all my cameras and have used POI edit as instructed to get my old FAVS on the TT. Trouble now is I have no sound. Checked all the settings and they seem OK. Please help. TT Go 920
Thank you |

Use a paperclip/ pin to reset the unit, you won't lose any settings, the reset hole is on the base of the device - Mike |

Tried that. Got the turn on sound. managed to get sound from changing a voice but then it has stopped working again. Running a route demo now at low speed and no sound again. Puzzled. Connected back to TT then lost the home setting and favs which I had reset. God - why do TT make things so complicated!!? Trying the pin again. see what happens |

Should the TT restart itself when the reset is pressed or do I have to manually turn it on. Seems like only the latter works |

Following a reset you do have to start the device with the on/ off switch, you should also hear a drumroll as it fires up following a reset - Mike |

Got sound on a non computer voice but not with a computer one that reads road names etc. 'test' does not work on any voices either albeit the non computer one works on a route demo |

Looks like I have also lost all my POI warnings. The speed zoned POIs etc are all there but no audible warning. I spose I have to reset all those as well!!! |

Sorry guys, this appears to be the computer voices that I cannot get at all. Any ideas? Perhaps this is connected to the fact I cannot type my own warnings for cameras etc. Not got the option I used to have - only bells / chimes etc. Bug*ger.
Not playing audible alerts on POIs either even though they are set. |

Connect up to the PC and use Windows Explorer to view the files/ folders on the device, locate the folder "LoquendoTTS" right click this and select Properties, what is the reported folder size? - Mike |

When you said earlier "it did some sort of major update" has it put a new application on the device or cahanged the application and a new map at the same time? - I am beginning to think this might be a duff Navcore download that has broken the TTS files, can you tell me what map version is installed and the Navcore version it is running (Tap the sat strength meter followed by the version box to find this information) - Mike |
