I have an £8 voucher and wondered if the remote control for the 940 is any good? Does it alter MP3 music easily on the move? |

Yep - dead easy to advance tracks and adjust volume etc.
You can also access the Quick Menu with one button press as well. |

Yes you can skip to the next track etc with the remote and it is quite a handy addition to the car.
Have a look at your local Halfords though for a price and bear in mind the purchase price + postage - £8 discount, you might not be saving anything at all - Mike |

Eeek you are right about the postage, £7 of my £8 voucher goes to that!
Halfords don't seem to have it, but thank you for all your responses. Very helpful |

How do you do that Andy?
The only "hidden" functions I've found are the press and hold the middle button for voice control and the middle soft-key to toggle between 2D and 3D (but it's only done this recently).
Maybe there are others too that are not in the manual? _________________ Device: GO 600, Live connected via iPhone 5.

Press and hold the middle soft key. If you've only the one Quick Menu function set up that is activated. If you have more than one set up you are taken to a screen to select the one you want. |

Good link I ordered one for my 940 from the same seller and got it in 7 days (quicker than some of the stuff from UK sellers!) - works and looks as new.
Here's the current link: Tom Tom GO 520 720 Bluetooth GPS Remote |

Yep,
mine arrived in about 5 days, works fine on my 940.
Did not think itwould be as useful as it is and keeps me from marking the screen all the time.
