Hi all,

I've just got my new Nokia N85 phone, copied all my TT6 software from the old memory card to the new one and.............nothing!

I assume that this is something to do with the registration?

Do you know how I can unregister my old phone and reinstall the software?

Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks a lot

Tim

For activation with TT6 you use www.ttcode.com and after you enter the Product code AND device code the web server returns an activation code. This will work as long as:
Seven days have elapsed since the first activation

Or

Six months has elapsed since the last activation (assuming you have activated the software on more than one device) - Mike

Hi,

I've been to ttcode and input my product code but it is returning an error of "this product can no longer be activated"

I have owned the software for some years now (4?) and have installed it previously on two memory cards. A mini SD for my old Nokia N80 and then a micro SD for my Nokia N95.

Is this why it's throwing a wobbly? I've installed it on too many devices?

Is there a way around this? Ideally I want it on my new micro SD card for the N85 as it came with an 8gb card and my old one is only 2gb.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Tim

Haul the Jolly roger and go pirate the same way that TomTom have pushed many PDA users, then you reap the benefit of using TTn7.

Unfortunately in TomToms infinite wisdom This is not an Option, hence the comment, My self respect is to continue using my PDA to the best of its ability for which I am quite prepared to pay for, but Tomtom dont see it this way.

Yes this is for the HTC, not being familiar with the HTC is not the same as the nokia N86 and would not be supported, is the HTC a symbian unit?

The HTC products are Pocket PC based phones, they are nothing like a Nokia, AFAIK there is no TTN7 application for the Symbian OS devices - Mike

Yes you are correct, I will not continue with this discussion, My original comment was aimed at TomToms discontinued support and not to start a discussion for or against piracy.

The devices listed as supported are windows mobile pocket PC OS I am clueless regarding Symbian OS. I thought you were implying it would work with this.

Yes I did Mullet, Afraid i got carried away and needed Mike to pull me back in line.
It gets confusing when I am playing with My Asus (wm6), Mio (2003se) and now Nokia N95 (Symbian) and further looking for maps to run on my LG Cookie(Palm), Perhaps i could plead Insanity or is there a word called Geriatiricity, You are welcome to comment Dennisn
