Go 530 SD card

Can anyone tell me the maximum size SD card the Go 530 will handle?

my device seems to have an internal memory for the maps which will allow me to add loads of mp3's to the device and then send the audio into my cars head unit via the Aux In.

I'm hoping that this will give better phone audio too if it's plumbed into the car as the internal speaker is pretty naff during a call.

32GB SDHC is the largest you can use, any smaller sizes will be fine. You cannot use the TomTom for handsfree with any of the external sound outputs, it can only use the built in speaker for phone calls. Connecting the Lineout to the car deck will offer better navigation instuctions and mp3 playback via the car speakers but not the phone audio.

I use an iO-Play unit for the phone which does use the car speakers and also allows BT audio support for streaming music from the TomTom at much higher quality than other connection methods, being Bluetooth there is also the advantage of less wires strewn all over the car - Mike

It's a bit disappointing to find out that the phone audio is only via the internal speaker

One of the reasons I bought it was for the "high Quality hands free"
