Hi Guys
I have updated my satnav from a TT One v2 to a Go 520. It came with the latest UK map but I would like to add my old Western Europe map for my infrequent trips abroad - usually summer hols!
Is it possible to get the WE map unlocked from the TT One and re-assigned to the Go? I don't really want to pay the not insignificant cost of a new WE map for the odd fortnights use. (Yes, that's right - I'm a tightwad!!)
Any info gratefully received.
Regards

You'll have to talk to TomTom to get this done. There's no way to do it legally yourself. |

Thanks for the info - it this someting that TT would be prepared to do? Has anyone had any experience of having had this done successfully?

Thanks guys
I'll contact TT and see what they say - but, as advised, I won't hold out much hope

And if TT does agree to do it, even for a price, please report back. Many of us (well, me anyway ) are used to responding, "Sorry, maps are locked to one device. Period" _________________ David |

Thanks for the phone number, Mike - I'll give it a go tomorrow.

Well, I telephoned TT and got the predicted answer - "The maps are locked to one device." They also suggested that as it wasn't the latest map I would be better off upgrading. They seemed quite surprised when I declined!!
