Looks like they have released 3.03.
What's new or improved in TomTom Navigator 3.03
Faster searching of street names in Find Address.
New: When a GPS position is available and you have entered a destination, but you are not near a road, a route is planned from the nearest road to the destination..
Faster street searching sounds promising. Going to install it now and see how it goes.

Just installed 3.04T.
Looks like the address search problems have indeed been ironed out!
First impressions are good! |

In case you miss the instructions do NOT use 3.03 if you installed Traffic, jsut use the new Traffic update. |

I don't think that a program update would fix a routing error unless the calculation itself was in error. Most routing errors are likely to be caused by map data errors which are not updated.
I found a piece of road missing today called Airfield Way when visiting a friends house in Leavesden Green, North Watford. If you click on the road its name appears with a green line showing the road but a large chunk in the middle is missing. Try navigating from Courtlands Close to Royce Grove, about 1/4 mile away. |

Here are my findings for TTNav3.04T start up times. The hardware is quite old:
iPAQ 3970 (PPC2002 ROM 2.10)
Lexar 256MB SD card
I'm running the full GB map
3.02T (422) 45 seconds to load every time.
3.04T (432) 40 seconds for 1st load, then 26 seconds after that.
It’s also better on the initial address look-up that I’ve tried.
However the jury is out on the BT GPRS connection with my Nokia 6310i phone. It didn’t connect when I asked for Traffic. However, when I tried MS Internet Explorer that connected via GPRS first time.

I do not have the traffic plug in and the .exe set up for 3.03 also installed GPS ver 3.03.
I will see tomorrow what it is like and if it solves the 2210 drop outs with the POI's showing. |

IIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSS FFFFFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIXXXXXXXXXXXXXEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD.
All the missing towns ARE THERE.
It now gives you the street name closest to the town, i.e you actually stand a fighting chance of finding the right Church Lane in the West Midlands.
