New Memorex 512 SdCard writing problem

Problems again! Not a happy Chappie at the moment.

My new Memorex 512MB SD Card arrived today.
Made in Japan from Ebuyer.com.

No. SD-M512B1 0344 TA9095 H £88.12 free postage

Tried to copy files to it via my PC USB card reader and it refuses saying "Data error: cyclic redundacy check"

Can copy files by active sync but that is quite slow compared with the card reader.

Do I need a newer version of card reader for this SD Card?

My wireless active sync and web browsing is now refusing to work!!

Its too hot today for all these problems!!

Post the markings from the back of the card and I'll probably be able to identify the manufacturer of the card (Memorex, to my knowledge, don't manufacture SD cards - they simply put their label on cards they buy in from another manufacturer).

With that information I may be able to help you pin things down.

The card works fine in the ppc (4150) just will not work with Jenoptik card reader.
