TT Home 2.6 kindly downloaded and installed Nav 7 on my HTC Touch Diamond but this does not seem to recognise my maps from Nav 6.
TT Support say that they will not provide technical advice to solve this and suggest that I de-install and revert to Nav 6.
The later version appears much faster with somehow greater GPS sensitivity even indoors so I really would like to get it going.
Can anyone help me please?
Many thanks - seajay007 |

Welcome to the forum, unless you purchase the newer maps to work with the new Navigator 7 application there is little you can do other than roll back the application to version 6 and use that.
If Home has updated the software on your device which has rendered an existing installation unusable then I would try again with TT Support as it shouldn't be doing this at all, compensation for your time to sort out issues caused by the poor Home software springs to mind - Mike |

Hi Mike
Many thanks for the prompt reply and guidance. I will give the support another try. If all else fails I will try and get updated map to suit N 7

Thank goodness for that, TTHome did the same to me with my leagal version of TT6.03, I got it all working, then plugged it in to computer, Home springs to life and merrily update to TT7 which when it starts offers me 1 free map.
No no no, If YOU FORCE ME TO UPGRADE then supply the maps OR make them work with the upgrade.
I wouldnt mind but I only use TT occasionally, so old maps arent an issue (the M25 is pretty much where I left it 5 years ago last time I had to brave it!)
xda dev do have work arounds for putting on the newer maps and activating them, but we wont go in to that |
