Just been out on the bike using the Active10 and I noticed that the red trail dots weren't appearing ( the ones that tell you where you have been ).I have made sure they are switched on in the Settings,disconnected/reconnected the Li-Pol battery,Reset Data and still no dots.
I have reinstalld the latest software update but still no joy.
Anyone else had this ?

No,but I have never done so before.
It wasn't a pre-planned marked route, just riding along.it has always given a snail trail previously unless things have changed under the latest firmware.

Yes it has changed with the latest firmware. You don't need to be following a route. Just tell it to track you and you should see the snail trail unless you have turned it off. You have a choice of large, small or no dots. But I think the most likely thing is that with the new software, without starting the track nothing shows as far as I am aware. _________________ LostMike

Mike,
Thanks for your help.
There is nothing on the Satmap site regarding it.
I may be being a bit thick here but how do I tell it to track me.
i.e. If I just set off from home walk down the street how do I get a snail trail ( the snail trail is switched on incidentally ).

Ian
I think you should go to the "Trip Log" reached by pressing the lower right hand button (the "page" button) then press the left hand lower button to "start" the trip log (when "start" is pressed the label will show "stop", being what would be achieved the next time you press the left hand lower button - I hope this makes sense). Then with the trip being recorded the snail trail should show.
I hope that helps you. If it does not say where you are having problems, or anyone else is free to chip in! _________________ LostMike

Thanks Mike I'll give that a go tomorrow.
I've never noticed that button before.

Yep thats nailed it.
Thank you very much Mike.
If it is a result of the last firmware upgrade I wish Satmap would inform us of what they have done.
Where would we be without this forum ?
Satmap would be snowed under with phone calls and e-mails.
