Try unchecking the box, close TomTom down, open up again and check the box again.

I posted my query 'cause I can't see this motorway thing on my screen.
I'm assuming it shows next junction from what I read in the TomTom manual, and I quote;
"Shows/hides the name of the next motorway or motorway exit in the top right corner of the Navigator view."
Am I wrong?
Or is TomTom wrong?
BJ Nottingham.
Oh, by the way Morris, I've not been out with the TomTom for a few days so not had chance to try your advice. Will report back aftre the weekend. Thanks. |

I may have got it wrong here, I will have to try it out. I belive it shows the motorway junction you leave the motorway by, or change motorways.

That's right, it shows the motorway/junction at the top of the screen where you should leave, it doesn't tell you which is the next junction on the motorway you are passing......

I don't quite get this.
If SteveW is correct, what's the point of the check box?
Why would you want to switch of the box that shows where you are leaving, but only on motorways?
Hmmmm.... |

Not sure really - I always leave it checked.......It just shows at the top of the Navigator screen which Junction to exit from - useful if you are counting the junctions. Sometimes, say if I am travelling down the M1 and onto the M25 past Heathrow, it will just say "exit M25"

This option toggles the blue or green box at the top right of the Navigator screen, which shows details of the next A road, motorway or motorway junction you'll be taking. It can be useful when navigating junctions, or if you lose satellite lock for some reason.
It's not always displayed in the Navigator screen.
