Hi everyone
I am a luddite when it comes to computers being of the older generation. Have just purchased a garmin 200w which I find great (and easy to use). Have just joined GPS and got my son-in-law over to download the speed camera alerts. He did it easy. My problem is they are off to Australia for some time and I would like to know when I update the speed camera alerts do I have to go through the same process as I think if that is the case I will stick with the same original database he loaded, or is it easier to update? Sorry for probably a stupid question. We all have to get old one day!!! any help would be appreciated |

If the PocketGPSWorld one, full instructions are here
It's quite easy once you have done it once or twice...

Hi
I had the Garmin 30 day trial but after looking on the Web decided to join the Pocket GPS and subscribe to their speed camera database, he un-clicked the Garmin alerts and now have the GPS alerts only as he thought it might cause a problem running 2 different alert systems. Does the update just 'update' or do you have to download everything again. Hope I am making sense to you experts! |

Each download is a complete copy of the Camera Database. You need to download a new copy each and then upload it to the device with POILoader. |
