Which Brodit Active Mount??

About ready to purchase my car mounting hardware for my 3870 Ipaq.

I have decided on a Brodit, due to the fixed cable instal option, and with the cable coming out of the back of the clip, it should be virtually invisable!

I have looked at the brodit site, and there are 2 Mounts i need to choose from..

The second mount has TX and RX options, but nothing to do with the GPS Receiver, so what are these for?? Do i need the mount with the TX and RX options, or just the basic mount?

This will be mounted in a Vectra (02 plate, last of the old shape) over the far right Air Vent, (using a proclip). Where would the best place be to pick up the required power feed? Do i need constant, switched, and earth?

I will be buying a bluetooth receiver, so i can move the kit to another car if needed, so not worried about the mount connecting to the receiver, although i would like to be able to have a cable somewhere (possably in the rear of the car) to plug in the Bluetooth receiver to charge while the vehicle is in use

You need the first one. The second model with Tx/Rx allows a wired GPS mouse to be hard wired in. As you intend using a BT unit this is not required.

As for where to pick up 12v, often the best place is the rear of the cigarette lighter socket which is generally ignition controlled. As always, if you are not confident with electrics get an auto-electrician to do this for you, you should also fuse the supply to the cradle.
