Hi,
As TomTom doesn't work with the internal GPS on an N96, I'm thinking of purchasing Route 66.
Just a question about the DVD version. Does it require the software to install it to my phone, or can I just copy the files across?
The reason being that I don't have access to a Windows based PC, just linux. |

I only have the PPC version of the Route 66 application and you do indeed have to install an application to the PC which manages the application and map installation/ activation as well as loads of other options - Mike |

Its useless for me as well but for other reasons, the lack of custom third party POI support makes the application a waste of time for me.
Have you considered McGuider as that should work with your device and can be supplied on a memory card for simple installation, see Here - Mike |
