The other way of finding the site is to type the name of the business into the search box. Easier than trying to follow the directions. I get the entrance to the site as 46.395248,-3.554443 which will get you to the right place on the road,
Hope this helps. |
am i not in the water with those numbers ?
darren ? |

There are many ways to write the Lat/Long coordinates. As you might have found, on the TomTom you can switch between decimal degrees, degrees-minutes-decimal minutes, and degrees-minutes-seconds.
But the other option (which TomTom cannot switch between) is where North and East are written as "+", and South and West are written as "-".
So if you get coordinates quoted as 53.12345, -0.12345, you put it in the TomTom as N 53.12345, W 0.12345. |

The correct address, if you don't want to use co-ordinates is
Route de la Grande Greve, 29660 Carantec, France - 29660 is the post code
Here is the map;-

That's right, Paul - or at least partially. Post Codes do work in Europe - I use them all the time, but you also need a road to make the navigation point more specific, as you say.
In this thread instance, the road is Route de la Grande Greve and the post code 29660. I have tried it on my GO730 and another TT device I have and both navigate me direct to the camp site. (Or close enough ) _________________ Gee-Pee
