TMC not being recognised on TT 520

My TMC has had a sort of intermittent connection on my TT520 for a while. It would usually work, but sometimes the TT520 wouldn't acknowledge that it was plugged it at all.

Sometimes unplugging it and plugging it in again would cause the TT to notice it was there.

But since upgrading the firmware to 8.302, it won't get recognised at all. I can't find any posts about this problem so am beginning to think either the TT520 or the TMC receiver is faulty (or the connection is faulty).

Has anybody else had similar problems?

The RDS TMC receiver works on my GO920 using firmware 8.302.

I occasionally do get the problem of the RDS TMC receiver not being recognised but this is more of a connection problem. It is normally fixed by reseating the plug or just twisting it Wink

There have been a number of posts with a similar problem since the 8,302 upgrade, but it could be a coincidence, can you try your receiver with someone elses TomTom to see if the RDS device is still working or has it packed up.
I have been using the round plug RDS-TMC unit with my 720 and 930 since the 8,302 update without any issues so it shouldn't be the software - Mike
