|
|
Hi All,
What is the best and quickest way of planning a route. If I want to go from A to B but prefer a route different to TTN3's choice say via a particular motorway or road what would be the best way to do it? Can I plan it before I have satellite contact or do I need to do it using avoid option?
Thanks

You can save and load Itinaries as you need - I have found this very useful traveling across europe. I save them to the SD card.

Thanks, but how do you set locations as a drive-by?

OK I think I've got it! Set the location drive by's first and the destination last, tap and save itinary file to storage card. OK? Then load as reqd. _________________ Graham |

If you put your stylus on the map, there is an option "Add to itinerary"
Also in the map view, one of the options in the top left drop down box is (display) Itinerary. where you can move the drive-bys up or down in the route to get the appropriate route. Plan first, then save as necessary by holding the stylus on the Itinerary page.
Word of warning though, get the correct side of the Motorway/dual carriageway otherwise it will go out of its way to route you to the opposite side, as I found out when driving past Lille last week in France. She was determined to take me to the opposite carriageway, even though I was half way to the next drive-by at Dunkerque!!
