|
|
I have browsed the forum and not found an answer to my car kit problem unfortunately. I have the ipaq 4150 with tomtom 3 bluetooth version. My requirements for a car kit are:
active mount powers ipaq
ability to power gps receiver
vent clip option
Looking at the options, the latest tomtom kit does not have a vent clip option, the brodit does not have an option to charge the GPS receiver & the seidio runs way too hot.
Is this correct? Is there any way I can get the 3 options I need for the 4150?
TIA. |

Hi Zaktor
You might want to look at the 'Arkon Multimedia Mount' you can find it here

I purchased my TomTom with car kit last September, at first I used the vent mount, but was not impressed.
I know use the suction screen mount and regularly move it from car to car, it works very well for me. Why not give it a try?

Why do you need the mount to charge the iPAQ and GPS? You could just purchase a separate charger lead, that's what the TomTom kit for the 4150 comes with. |

Less cables running to my cig lighter. I just need to run one cable from the mount to the receiver. Plus the dual socket charger is already in use to charge my phone/bluetooth headset. |
