Just turned on my 540 Live to find it reporting heavy traffic at various locations around Leeds.
My initial thought is this can not be correct. Looking at the HD web pages it is showing heavy traffic around the country - most unusual for Saturday Morning.
Has the country ground to a halt or is there a problem with HD Traffic?? |

Same in London. Yesterday there was a major accident on the M25 about 10:35 about two miles from here (J21- J22 M1) and I am wondering if that will shortly show up again! _________________ Drivelux |

HD traffic is simply not working as it was promised, the data is as unreliable as gprs and tmc. It regulary reports rush hour queues that cleared up hours ago, My free trial will soon be over. I won't be paying 7.99 a month for what amounts to a pile of the proverbial |

I posted my experience with this issue here
Happened on the Thursday (as above) and same time again the following day.....and again today, Saturday.
The delay info that was present when it originally froze with me on Thursday was still present there is morning.
Even RDS/GPRS can beat this sort of timescale accuracy!
All this for £7.99 a month.
What frustrates me is that I was held up in traffic that was accurately displayed to within the meter almost, and updated within a matter of couple of min which proves they can get it right, some of the time.
I guess the can't get it right all the time, however I AM expecting it improve on what they provide at the moment if they expect me to continue paying for it. _________________ Graeme Bennett

I've posted a poll about LIVE subs here. I'd appreciate it if all the x40 owners could vote?
I have to say my experience of LIVE and HDT in particular has been less than promising and I certainly wouldn't be subscribing as it has proved to be no more reliable than RDS-TMC. I've been sat in unreported hold-ups a dozen or more times and driven along at 70mph on M-Ways that HDT informed me were at a standstill! _________________ Darren Griffin |

The issue seems to have sorted itself out now, as the traffic from friday morning has now been removed from the general HD traffic view! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE
