Hi hope someone can help I bought a xda orbit and loaded tomtom mobile 6 onto it everything seemed to load maps etc, came to set it up when get to the voices keeps telling me to down load the voices from the cd or internet, even thogh the file and contents of the voices are on the device anyone got any advice on how to get the thing working, thanks for your time.

Nick, where have you put the "voices" folder is it on the device or the memory card and are there any voice files within it?
Each voice file comprises of two files:
data05.chk (the nav voice)
data05.vif (this file offers information about the voice) - Mike |

Not forgetting the optional .bmp file to accompany the voice!
Ensure your `Voices` folder is in the root of your microsd card. _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.

Hi thanks for the advice but this morning decided to do a reset of the xda and hay presto when I loaded in the tomtom off sd card it worked. But many thanks for all the advice, Nick |
