Updated to 1.3.
Went for a walk, couldn't see the GPS direction indicator.
What does it look like, how do I get it on.
Thanks |

In Map mode, it's a short blue line extending from the outer edge of the blue position circle in the direction of travel. It only appears when you are moving. |

"It's where Dave sez"
However if you still can't see it you may have a faulty unit or the 1.3 firmware upgrade hasn't done it's job properly.
I am sure a call to Satmap will sort things if need be.

When I first tried 1.3 I could not see the direction indicator but then I realised that I normally stop to refer to the A10 - so no motion!
Try walking at a brisk pace with it on and I am fairly sure you will see it. _________________ LostMike

I would be useful if the A10 flashed the direction indicator for a few seconds once motion has stopped. |

I like the new feature,.
Surely, though, if you stop to look at your Satmap, the direction of travel is 180 degrees to the last section of breadcrumb trail. If you have only just changed direction, any method of indicator will be incorrect. |
