Hi All.
I have plotted a route to Austria , using Auto route, converting with ITN converter. This always works fine. But when I try it on my 720, it only sees 49 0f 95 waypoints. Is there a limit to these? I have cleared all other ITN files out, in case it's a memory issue, but to no avail. Any help much appreciated.

I thought the limit was 70 waypoints in TT's Itinerary function. Maybe it's 50? _________________ David |

Unfortunately it's another limitation of the TT. Only 48 waypoints/destinations per Itinerary.
Could you split the Itinerary into 2 parts? Inconvenient, but possibly workable. _________________ Richard

Thanks all. Must of been a blonde day. I realized there must be a restriction on waypoints, split the route and all is well. Strange that the files are so small, but restricted to 4x points. But I guess not too many people will use that many. Country roads all the way on the bike. Can't wait. Thanks again for the replies. |

Just a thought. We "did" Europe in 2006 and hope to do so again in 2010. Our way of doing it is to aim roughly at somewhere (some town or village on a Europe Atlas), set the TomTom to avoid motorways and toll roads and simply go with the flow, no timetable, no reservations. We don't particularly like motorways, but love country byways and this served our purpose very well. We enjoyed the surprises of coming across something unexpected too. _________________ Dennis

In our family, those are called "TomTom Roads"

Usually it's a locked gate or a farmyard! |

This is where the old compass with the direction of destination showing was such good fun. _________________ Alan

If you've got no timetable or deadlines, you can still do the same with the new compass....

That will be a British couple living in Paris then? Parisians are well known for being friendly (not) - though they are usually formally polite - and I too am a Francophile (in a big way). _________________ Alan
