Are you using a Symbian based phone? If so there is a bug in the current release that causes custom (and sometimes built in) POI to crash the application. Sygic are working on a fix (I believe it is in testin at present) which should be released via McGuider Assistant (check on the SD card if you have never used it) in the next few days/weeks.

Regarding the icons, what version of the database are you using? The icons in the consolidated download are 4 bit, but McGuider requires 8bit/256 colour. I can supply updated ones from the PGPSW download and have emailed them to MaFt so hopefully the future downloads of the database will have correct bit depth. PM me if you need them.

The latest FIXED McGuider application is available from the "McGuider Assistant" download area.

The Custom POI problem is now fixed and you can use the PocketGPS SpeedCam files along with custom spoken warning sounds :-) some other tweaks to the application as well.
