Hi All
If you like me use your device to transmit through you care speakers, and have updated your maps to Nt 2009.11. You will find the webupdate is not working and cannot find your device. I had tried many things such as re-installing the maps, removing the card etc and still the webupdater did not find the device.
When i re-installed the maps the webupdater did work that one time, however i tried it today again and still did not find the device. By accident i have found a solution to this, and Garmin are aware of this issue now. To get the webupdater to work tap on volume and then audio output and then change the fm transmitter to internal speaker. Then try webupdater and i found this resolved the problem as webupdater can see my device.
Regards

Thanks for the update and for persisting with it, an odd issue (and solution) indeed! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi All
Firstly I would like to apologise that i did not not make it clear in my post that other sofware updates could have affected it other than mapping. I originally assumed it to be the mapping due to my lack of knowledge and only because the isssue only became apparent after the mapping update which i did last (2 days ago). However what i do know is that if you follow the accidental solution/workaround whatever you may call it works.
Apologies once again
Regards
