Hi I am thinking of buying one of these in the next few days(need to replace my garmin that died aftr 6 months! asap) Anyone have any thoughts or info about it, and can I still download a speed camera database to it from this site, as I am a full member and want to keep it up to date.
Quick replies gratefully recieved. Thanks

There's been quite a few previous discussions about iPAQs here.
If you use the "Search" key in the bar at the top and type "ipaq" in the box, then restrict the search to the Speed camera section of the forum, you'll get 158 "hits" of topics (including yours) that might be worth browsing through.
As for whether the database can go on it depends on the actual software it is running.
THIS TOPIC from that search list might shed some light.
EDIT: I just noticed one of our other camera verifiers is using an iPAQ rx5720 with TT 6.100, so there's hope... |

My rx5720 does indeed have TT on it, but the 314 seems to come with (a version of) iGo. From the images here, it seems to be a nice display.
Have a look at the work Sal has done in this thread. _________________ Jock
