Hi Linknet,
I'm happy to see you back in business
THANK YOU for your new skin !
I see 1 cosmetic problem:
(even with original skin): Settings/Navigation: misalignment for box containing "Restore Lock-to-Position" - must be moved to right.
I know that you don't have time, but you will add in future release FlyOver control?
Thanks |

Will report if problems occur. |
No real problems during the trip, only 1 question:
- If I am on a motorway (Highway) and have to get onto another motorway, then the map goes to 2D (or tilts in a vertical position, very annoying) at the first warning "leave motorway in 3km" until the final warning "leave motorway", then it goes to 3D again. This happens in 6.0.1 and 6.0.2. It turns out this happens in the default skin as well, so it's not Ultraskin related.
I've reset all user settings and Smartzoom settings are like this:
Zoom in: 170M
Zoom out: 300M
Tilt up: 50 degrees
Tilt down: 70 degrees
Have changed these settings, coarse and fine adjustments, doesn't help.
What to do? I would like a tilted 3D map so I can see the exit on screen. |

Turn off "Automatic Overview".

Thanks for that, I'll add it to the website as soon as I get some time.

Added Version 6.0.3
- Added a working section camera cancel function to the section camera warning icon. The first "Tap" cancels the warning sound as usual and the second "Tap" now actually cancels the section camera so that the next section camera encountered will begin a new monitored section.
- Added coloured backgrounds to the lane arrows on the signpost information panels making it easier to distinguish the correct lane(s) to take (see the screenshots page).
- Modified the Manage Blocked Roads menu so that "Tapping" the blocked road information takes you straight to the location on the map screen. The "Map" button is therefore not required and has been removed.
- Numerous minor cosmetic changes particularly to the Portrait Mode menus.

Thanks for the information, I've corrected that and some more. Also check the Manage Road Blocks menu.
No flyover planned I'm afraid.

Hi Linknet
I have two requests
i like the way the second Route event looks. Are you planning to make the first route event the same?
are you planning to make a color filter for the night profile. Dimka en Gurjon have something like that on there skins and i like it very much. You can make the colors more dark so it is less bright in the car.
I like your skin a lot. Leave it simple that's the best. |

Yes, the original design is clean and clear but very difficult to distinguish between the lanes, all they use is dimming of the panel and lane arrows which are not on the route.
The problem is, as shown by my example on the website, that a highlighted panel can also contain dimmed arrows. These are impossible to differentiate in sunlight, and extremely difficult in daylight.
It needed a solution, if you can think of a better one I'll have a look at it.

Not at the moment, I sometimes consider it but usually find reasons against it.

Now that's a good idea, I usually have to minimise iGO, turn down the brightness, and then maximise iGO to achieve that.

Its great to have Ultra Skin back again.
I have used Gurjons skin for a couple of months now, and it does have more options (more useful, others not so) than Ultra - however I do remember how good Ultra Skin was when I last used it, so will give it a go again.
You have to sort out speed camera warnings and speed camera options though, they are a must.
Thanks for your work. |

Turn off "Automatic Overview".
linknet | I'm sure that will help but automatic overview is one of the key features why I use iGO. And since "Intelligent Powersave" doesn't work as it should on my TyTnII, I'm left with no other option.
But I might have solved it in another way. Today I did a reset of all user settings. This solves the problem as well. Turns out that iGO will do this whenever the zoom in/out are on the settings I mentioned before. |
