Half price Memory-map OS mapping

Don't know if this is allowed or the right place but Tesco on-line are selling several MM OS map titles at half price (January 2009).

Not a great range left - but the 'Half-UK' discs at £65 are pretty good value, as is the 2,500km 25k selections at half-price.

Would this have anything to do with the OS statement that this mapping data will from next month be provided without charge?

It will be interesting to see what format these maps will be in.
