I have read somewhere on the forum how to transfer routes to Google earth, but unfortunately can not find it now. Can anybody help?

Take a look at GPS Visualizer, works with Google Maps and Google Earth.

Just one further question, is there anywhere on the web where you can share or download either routes or tracks from other walkers?

I assume it will be at the same tome as the route planner!! |

The Route Planner/ Sharer has been a long time coming, but recent e-mails from OS suggest it will be given the go-ahead early Feb, so as long as Satmap don't drag their heals it's not long now  |
