Hi all, i had my HDD die the other night so had too buy a new one, when
i try to load the navigon/medion software all i get is a mesage saying.
" Activesync needs to be installed first click OK " when i click OK the
thing shuts down the instal. When i check device manager the USB root hub and medion device are sitting their, but no icons on the deck top.
I can not run the software from the disk either. HELP!!!!
Cheers. Lyn. PS: i think the docking station was left plugged in when i reload my computer :x |

Try installing Activesync without the device attached. _________________ Tim |

Tried all that and uninstalled the driver even thou it had not loaded, i
think Windows just put it's own driver in Cos it said no driver files needed.

Hi Tim, thanks for your reply, i have now sorted it out. I went through the reg via regedit and found i had a call or two to Medion, so i
deleted them. reload went in no probs then i've no why it still had
a reg entry but it did, unless it was from the Windows USB driver as that
ID'ed my Medion as Medion PPC.
Cheers. Lyn. |
