|

Hi folks,
I tried to get a price for map subscriptions, but it does not seem to work.
When I go to TomTom's page it offers to take me to Home to "get a quote", or to buy a single map - the latter is somewhat illogical as I want subscription costs rather than to buy a single map.
If I choose the former it takes me to Home, shows me a list of my maps, and the price column has no values in it.
Any ideas how to resolve?
Thanks |

I think it's because you need to have the latest available map installed on your device before the Map Update Service is shown.
The price you will be shown in the Add Maps section will be for the latest map and then it should give you a price of £xx.xx per quarter for four updates to that new map.
It's a bit naughty of them to give quarterly prices, as you have to pay the full cost up front. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

One of the maps was just updated, due to a series of "bugs", so in theory at least one is up-to-date.
It looks like Home might be bugged though, or perhaps it's yet another feature that's not available for certain versions of TomTom. |
