My old TT go 700 is perfect itsshow all the POI while i drive but i just bought a new one this new TT go 700 it doesent show POI while i drive. even though i have tick yes to all them in the change perference option but it not shown up.
The only way to show point of interest is that i have to do it in mange POI and then warn when near POI and then i have to write above 100 yards warn only if POI is on route. so each time it warn WHICH I DONT WANT THAT.
my old tt go 700 its only showing picture of POI without warning whic is perfect.
I have played with it but i couldnt sor it to make the new one like my old one. even though i follow every step from my old tt go 700 to make sure is same as the new one but still doesnt work.
Please help me |

Which version Software is on the new 700? Is it the same as the first one you have?
There are 2 ways to Enable POIs.
One is in Change Preferences, the other is in Browse Map.
In Browse Map, select Options and make sure that Points of Interest has a tick.
Then select POI, at the bottom of the screen, and tick the categories you want to see.
Tap Done twice to exit. _________________ Richard

You still have to go to Browse Map, and in Options, tick Points of Interest in Map Detail Preferences to see the POIs in Browse Map. _________________ Richard

There is a limit of about 100 POI categories that the Device can 'see'. If you can set them up with Warn When Near, then that means that they fall into the 100.
The only thing that springs to mind is that you are not travelling close enough to the POIs that you want to show on the screen. Also be aware that Enabling too many POI Categories will slow the Screen Redraw Rate almost to a standstill.
Even if they are not Enabled you can still use them to Navigate to ...., or Find. _________________ Richard

Thanks for the quic answer, I have only between 10 and 12 in warning option most of them are Pock speeding camera, and in the mapbrowse option i have only tick 15 POI's. When i go nearer to POI which i tick yes in the map browse they does not showing but when i click warn me its actually warning.
total POI's in my device are 54
when i go to browse map there are five option each option got a box to tick:
1.point of interest
2. favourties
3. image
4. names
5. Coordinates
I have tick 1 which is POI's do you think i may have to tick other above option? which i have already used image but it doesnt work?
Thanks again |

Selecting "Show POI on map" AND ticking each POI category you want is all you need to do to get the POI to show on the normal driving view (I assume you realise that not all POIs will be shown in "Browse Map" unless you zoom in quite close).
In your last post you say you are ticking "Points of Interest" in the list of five options in Browse map/ Options, but you ALSO need to tap the "POI" button at the bottom and then tick each individual category you want to show.
If it's still not working, I think either the software is corrupted or the POIs you have installed are not behaving normally.
Do a reset with a un-bent paperclip in the reset hole on the bottom and see if that fixes it.
If not, download a single POI file from the PGPSW collections HERE and try that (you can run a demo route past one of the entries, rather then having to actually drive past it). Make sure you copy BOTH the .ov2 file and the matching named .bmp file into your currently selected mp's folder ("Western Europe" or whatever yours is called). |
