I am guessing here but have you created a TomTom account and does home recognize that you are connected? |

The biggest problem is I wanna operate my TT one 125 when hooked to computer through Home so I can use all the features especially the Operate my One option, like i said when I click on the option it a box pops up and says "This function is not yet supported for your navigation device or operating system"...everything else i can seem to operate, add maps voices etc..back up and restore,Update, show contents of my one, copy to computer. However when I click on Find accessories for my one my firefox browser opens a new window but does not load the page |

Contact TomTom Support and ask them when they are going to release the file needed by your PC and Home software so that it can see the device in a virtual mode. (0845 161 0009)
This missing file issue is not unusual and can occur as new devices are released or software updates to existing devices can cause the same issue - until TT release the file there is nothing you can do - Mike |

Home will get the file automatically once it is made available - as for how long this could take is really the same as asking me "how long is a piece of string" Only TomTom could answer that one, they might not even know the file is missing yet - Mike |

Thanks for your advice i will contact them today becouse it really sucks i wanna use google maps to send destinations to my TT but it appears it uses the "operate my tom" control also so it will not upload to TT...I was afraid since I use primarily firefox and just keep an Internet Explorer Beta as back up it might be causing this problems as alot of programs require IE and do not recognize IE beta but only IE 7 or below |

Hi, you DON'T need Home to do what you want to achieve. In fact there is very little you actually need Home for except downloading maps and operating software from TT.
Everything else can be done as easily or better using other methods.
To save itineraries from Google Maps (or Google Earth) the easiest way, you need a program called "Tyre" (http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php).
The files that produces can be simply saved to the "itn" folder of your TomTom when it is connected to the PC, without using Home at all. The TT storage simply appears as a new "disk drive" as far as the PC is concerned.
By the way, what is a "TT one 125"? I don't think I've ever heard of that model....
Can you describe it, point to it anywhere on the web and/or give the model number on the bottom (will be a number like 4N01.001 in tiny print on the bottom label). |

Thanks for the link. I hadn't realised we were talking about an American model. They do things different over the pond!
That website is handy though... I've managed to fill in a few missing model numbers (the 4EG0.000.01 type number) from their descriptions! |
