Please help

I have a tomtom 720 and on sunday I connected to tt home.TT home said it had a problem so I disconnected using the disconnect button but when I tried to turn on my tomtom it will not recognise my hard drive....it still recognises my SD card but runs very slow.I have sent "support" the problem only to be told to do a reset I have replied to them and I am awaiting there next stupid comment.Please can anyone help me as the members on here know more about tomtoms than tomtom do.Thank-you.Mark.

Happened with me a little earlier when I installed an update of tomtom home 2.5 ? and (without me knowing that it was also upgrading to application to Navcore 8.300)..

Mike (here) later helped me uninstall that and downgrade to Navore 8.0 version, though with a different purpose)...Thanks again Mike

How I resolved the disconnect issue was shut down the computer...start it after about a couple of minutes, reset tomtom (by taking out SD card as well) and connect again...and it got connected to PC...and was showing/working as a removable drive, m drive in my case.

Maybe this could solve the problem

I have taken out the sd card and tried to connect to "home" and also my computer but neither will recognise that the tomtom is there.If I replace the sd card then "home" and the computer recognises the sd card but not the internal memory.
