Bampah, did you ever figure this out? I have done the same with my 910 and only have the blue arrow when I get to the map (which I only use in 3D). I had no problems with my 920 but that was to be expected. Thanks.

Darren,
I sent you these two other images earlier
After sending them to you,
I was reading that anything that is true red will be transparent so much of the car in those images will be transparent.
I also edited the Goofy and Mickey image because Mickey's ears were not in proportion.
Goofy was not sitting in his seat as his hands were facing you meaning he was turned around in his seat.
I also fixed the color of the car so this time it should not be transparent.
Here is the new image in both JPG and BMP formats
I still don't know if I am doing this right as I don't have a TomTom yet to test them.
I also still don't understand why everything has a white outline and it's purpose but did include them in my images. |

I can't access the .bmp version of that image, I get a permission error?
The white outline isn't compulsory but it does help define the image when placed on the map. _________________ Darren Griffin |

SAAB 95 AERO Estate
I have not come across a 95 Estate cursor so I had a go and made this.
if the sun comes out I'll do another one....I might even clean the car first. |

Nice, if you send it to me in .bmp format, darrenATpocketgpsworld.com I'll add it to the download page (with your permission). _________________ Darren Griffin |

Most image hosts convert them to .jpg
That was the first time I had used picflare and was surprised to see they did allow for .bmp images but am disappointed if you can't access them.

I don't, as you say, an image host will expect a .jpg file or convert to .jpg. What you need is basic web-space, you don't need an image host.
I did receive your emailed version. I haven't had a chance to tweak the colours though, at the moment the entire car body is handled as transparent. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I think I had changed the 255, 0, 0 in the car to 254, 56, 43 if I remember correctly.
I also loaded the image and used the color picker and didn't notice any 255, 0, 0 (red) in the car.
Thank you though Darren for taking a look. |

My mistake, I was still looking at your first rendition, Sorry!
The MKII version is much better, I've tidied up a few stray off colour pixels around the edge and in the gap between the two characters although that's because I'm picky, it would have been more than godd enough as you supplied it!
It's now on-line and available for download, got any more? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I wanted to first see if I was doing it correctly and that's why I asked you.
But since you asked I did a Google Image Search for possible ideas.
It would be neat to try some of the following:
Aladdin on his magic carpet,
Tinkerbell walking of the map like in Peter Pan,
Mickey holding a map,
and Tinkerbell flying to name a few.
But I don't have the time right now with the Holidays, but maybe later will try some.
Again, Thanks for everything Darren. |

Just recently got a Vauxhall Astra.
Took a photo from rear and converted it to a TT car icon.
Also uploaded & available online.
