Hi Guys.
I downloaded this on to my nuvi 200, ,checked using the PC to see if it was in the proper folder and it shows up OK, but it's not showing up on the unit's screen, under voices.
Any idea's why not
thanks in advance _________________ "Gort...Klaatu barada nikto"

Did you unzip the file and copy the conents to the Nuvi?
You should see a file called DrNightmare.vpm in the x:\garmin\voices folder, not DrNightmare.zip |

Do you have the latest software installed on your 200? Use the web updater to update your device, this is quite common as you need the latest software to run new voices. |

Don't think there is any new updates for the 200?, were do I look.
as you can see from the pic, it's in there, wonder if you need to delete some of the foreign languages, so to free up more space

You need to download and install WebUpdater to your PC. Plug in the Garmin and run the program to check the software is up to date. It'll tell you all the updates that are available and will let you install them.
Tip: Make sure the unit has a good charge before you use it because once the downloads are installed you need to restart the unit to finish the update. this can take a bit of time. Do NOT turn the unit off even if it looks frozen, just give it time. |

Yes it does, but in order to restart the unit I normally disconnect the USB lead to get it to shut down and restart. Never tried using the on / off switch to cycle the power..... Always forget.... |
