|
|
Hi - Just installed the latest verion of the TT app, v7.900, and it seems that it removed all of the custom alerts that I had setup for the all the speed cameras! 1 - is this normal?, 2 - is there a quick way of re-instating? or 3 - if I have to manually re-enter all of these, could someone point me to the very helpful thread detailing all the right distances to set the alerts to?? Many thanks |

Best bet is to re-configure the warnings again, have a look at the table on This Page, scroll down quite some way as its near the bottom - Mike |

This sometimes happens with software updates that need to write a fresh data file, it also often happens after using "Home" due to long-running bugs.
There used to be a method of restoring them by keeping a backup copy of the "MapSettings.cfg" file (found in your named map's folder) and pasting it back there if something has lost or overwritten it.
This should still work if Home just loses them, but is not a good idea after a software update at the moment as there are some incompatabilities between the file versions. This might become OK again in the future though. |
