Dear All,
I have received an email from tomtom offering 30% discount on new maps. So the new western europe maps via this method will set me back £49.95, but without map updates.
If I add new maps via home this would cost £62.65 including of course the quarterly updates.
Can anyone advise if the quarterly up dates are actually worth the cost for the amount of updated map data that will be available.
The version offered is 8.15
Regards
Jeff |

The map updates are complete new maps each time though, so for £12:70 more you will have up to date maps for the next twelve months, this is far cheaper in the longer run than purchasing a discounted map now and another new map next year - Mike |

If TT run true to form then they will be releasing a new map soon after the 30% sale.
Thats what they did last time, move some old stock then release a new map.
With that in mind, how will you feel when you have paid out for a new map that is suddenly out of date? _________________ Go 720 v8.351 GPS v1.20 Boot 5.5120

We bought the new annual update map offer, which seems good and we had a new version come through recently.
The only thing to remember if you do this, Tomtom will expect you to have the latest map version on your TT and you have to pay for it of course, but at a reduced rate.
