Are others experiencing problems ordering Carcomm kit from TotalPDA?
I have placed a couple of orders recently for phone cradles and heard nothing and on phoning TotalPDA been told that they cannot get delivery dates from Carcomm and that TotalPDA also have server problems in that their website is not updating from the warehouse and as such is showing stock that they do not have.
Out of five items I ordered that were shown as in stock, only one was and they did send that separately at no extra courier charge. _________________ Drivelux |

I'll ask Carcomm if there are any supply issues at their end. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I asked Carcomm if they had any supply issues and they said that stock of some popular items was low and production had been increased to cope but that this was nothing out of the ordinary.
The x40 cradle is progressing as well _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks, I also contacted Expansys and managed to part order some of the bits I require but they also have shortfalls in the same Carcomm stuff, so it is definitely not a TotalPDA issue. _________________ Drivelux |

The only bit outstanding now is a CCAC-06 cable which plugs into the Carcomm cradle loom and has a 5V mini USB plug for powering devices. It is now on back-order with Expansys who are quoting 12 days to me or less than 5 days on their website.
Many places show stock or available in 2 days but on contacting them, there is no stock and this is only a typical lead time.
I will leave this last bit on back order as the postage was paid on the rest of the order. _________________ Drivelux |

Anyone has any further problems ordering Carcomm or ordering from TPDA please feel free to give me a call on 0870 220 4803 (Direct Line) and I will help you out...
We do sometimes get taken by surprise with the Carcomm kit going out of stock as it's soo popular... BUt we are usually able to get stock within 48 hours.
Thanks
Steve
