New SmartST 2008 2nd Edition software I understand that it was supposed to be available at the end of June, July etc

This is delayed till November as I have requested this,
I am wondering if it will ever come out as they normally release a new units around this time. |

No the new map updates ARE available NOW (in stock) from the online Navman Store at Navman.com
However the S30 / S50 / S90i (non-3D units) currently ship with 2007.4 mapping data and SmartST 2008 v1 SP2
The new dataset is 2007.10 (not 2008.7 as on the new S100 unit and as expected for the map update) and I believe comes with the software (Navman upgrades typically do) to make it the new 3D versions of these units, or at least progress to version 2 of SmartST - although check with Navman to confirm the software change
In addition ALL these units (S Series including S90i and S100) WILL be getting 2009 data in June 2009 with software upgrades (anyone purchasing an S Series November onwards and registering will get this package FREE of charge)
The updates otherwise cost £49 / one country or £69 / Europe |
