Very odd - I tried hard for 30 mins to get it paired. Did your contacts transfer to the TT ? |

AFAIK your phone will only support the handsfree services, nothing else is supported (yet, and it might stay this way for some time).
For contacts though if you can get them off the phone and on to the PC you can download an Excel Spreadsheet which can be used to translate the phone contacts in to a file format the TomTom will understand, the download is available on This Page, its not as easy as transfering the data directly but it does provide a working solution - Mike |

Very odd #2. Tried again and it worked although it displayed a garbled name for the phone. I renamed the iPhone and tried again, worked, contacts transferred etc. |

FYI - import of contacts from iPhone 3G over Bluetooth to GO 740 worked for me. _________________ Paul Webster |

On TomTom's compatibility list the iPhone only supports hands-free calling while the iPhone 3g also supports import of contacts. _________________ TT Go Essential |
