Guys,
Does anyone know if it's possible to write my own application to be installed within my Tomtom 940? .e.g an SDK? I've googled and found some references to an old no-longer produced one but not sure if there is any replacement. |

I believe that TomTom no longer support the SDK that was available previously, and no, there isn't a replacement. |

Thanks for your reply. There is a sticky in this forum about 3rd part application, such as http://gps.dg4sfw.de/ which seems to be a few small home-made apps. Any idea how they are done? |

I thought it was only the support in getting the SDK programs working, which was not supported.
I think the tomtom software will still run the programs, however the programs have to be compatible with the tomtom software version. _________________ TomTom 700 GO user since Dec 2005.
