Just joined and tried downloading several POI files in CSV format using BOTH Firefox and Internet Explorer (latest versions). Nothing but empty zip files resulted! (Even after making slight modifications in the request protocol.)
Am I the only one to experience this rejection?

Hi and welcome.
How many categories are you downloading at once?
Try less than 20 and see what happens. Also try the Show Link option. |

I only requested a single file from each of 3 categories.
Thanks for the welcome. |

Try checking the 'show link' box next to the "Download" box on the POI download page.
What are you downloading to - Garmin? (If you are, use POILoader once the download is ok). _________________ David

Yep. I tried the 'show link' box next to the "Download" box on the POI download page.
I requested cdv format and was downloading to the PC, figuring that I would edit the file and then download to the Garmin using the POILoader. |
