|

I upgraded to HOME 2.5 (actually 2.5.0.29) earlier in the week as did many on here. I've just connected my device and gone into HOME 2.5 and now been offered another update, this time to 2.5.1.3.
Anyone know what the difference is between '2.5.0.29' & '2.5.1.3'? I can't see any visual changes, so suspect an 'attempt' at curing a bug? |

What is going on? I only installed 2.5.1.3 a few minutes before my first post on this topic - it definitely was quoted as '2.5.1.3'? |

Right.....I have just logged back into HOME and checked for any HOME updates and it says I am currently using the latest version which is.......... '2.5.1.36'. It definitely didn't say that when it prompted me to update as I immediately wrote it down!
At least it removes that piece of confusion!
Anyway, it's not like TomTom to put out updates that quickly (2 within a week), even if there is a known bug (8.3 comes to mind!)! |

I was getting an error with Fuel Updates with 2.5.. this has been fixed now in the latest update, which is probably why they released this fix so quickly. |

I downloaded the update. Still get error messages with Fuel Updates and of course the usual message about the content having been bought for another device. The latter problem is at "Research" stage with TomTom "Customer Services". |

So, already.....within a couple of posts, people are getting varying experiences of this latest update. I personally don't seem to be having any problems at all with either of these latest HOME updates (fingers crossed). |

I too have just been updated to 2.5.1.36 and I too got the Fuel Prices error.
However, I found that closing down Home, re-opening Home and selecting "Update my go" fixed it and the Fuel Prices were updated.

Mine is showing as 2.5.1.34.
Running on a Mac mind, so could be different. It won't update any further anyway.
However, I know have 3 pages of options to choose from when previously there were two.
Have 'Operate My device' all alone on the last page. it still doesn't work with my 720/30, but at least it now lets me report the error 'anonymously' to TT whenever i try to connect. I have done so - about 15 times.
Probably will do the same every other day as well, it generates a different fault number each time, probably trace back to my ISP but I don't care. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |
