Have just received a new TT530,not sure if the map is up to date,but am a little annoyed that the petrol poi near me is way out and was never where it is showing,can anybody tell me why this is so? |

Because the TomTom POIs are notoriously inaccurate. Go to the PGPSW POI page (here) and download some better quality ones! |

Have been to local petrol station and corrected on the map.Downloaded the FUEL from pgpsw,but they don't seem to show up as a poi on the live map?Where as the tomtom ones do show up even if they are incorrect? |

Amusingly my 720 has always showed a nearby filling station within 50 yds of my house but the POI on my 540 now shows it in the correct place, about 400 yds away and they both have v815 maps |

Try Change Preferences/ Show POI on map, scroll through the list and make sure your Custom Petrol stations category is selected - Mike |
