Hello,
I have been thinking about purchasing a GPS Photo Logger and have seen this one
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=224133
at Maplins.
Just kind of like the idea of this technology, does anyone have any info. on the use of one of these systems or what the linked item above is like. I have searched on t'internet, there are reviews, but I definitely trust the thoughts of the people on here, so was just looking for some help.
Cheers

Looks cheap enough and will work, just make sure that both the logger and digital cameras clocks are in sync before you set off out, I tend to use my PDA based phone to geo-tag photographs which it does with no post processing.
Depending upon which digital camera you have some can accept a Bluetooth communication and therefore GPS position from an external receiver, have a read of This I use a Cannon which doesn't support a GPS receiver, so when I want a geo-tagged picture I take a shot with the PDA phone and the main picture with the Cannon - Mike |

I have the RoyalTek RGM-3800, which seems to work well, although I haven't used it much yet.

Thanks for all that. Have decided (at the minute will look a little more) to go for the Qstarz BT-Q1000P (Platinum) which received a real good review from here.
Was going to go with my original choice because it was actually available in a shop on the High Street, and me being me wanted it immediately. It is quite a surprise when you look how a lot of things aren't available on the High Street.
Cheers
