I have what seems a lot of Mobile speed camera POI's in fact 26 of them:
part 1 speed camera ...
part 2 speed camera ...
part 3 speed camera ...
part 4 speed camera ...
30, 40, 50, 60 70 * & ? pocketgps uk gatso ...
30, 40, 50, 60 70 * & ? pocketgps uk mobile ...
pocketgps uk redlight
pocketgps uk sc
30, 40, 50, 60 70 & ? pocketgps uk specs
Do I really need all of these - can I just have simple warning of fixed and mobile cameras .. and not a POI for each speed varaint ?
I have TT6 on on IPAQ.
Welcome any tips on simplest way to set this up |

Try the Consolidated Database. You get 5 files. One per camera type. |

No idea what they are, they don't ring a bell as our files?
Regardless though , your sub expired in 2006 so those files are all hopelessly out of date now! Our records show you only ever downloaded a single file version so how did you come by those files? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I had a sub from you for TT5 ... I had TT6 given to me a few weeks back when a colleague purchsed a standalone TT GPS unit.
His version came with databsae mentioned.
I didn't renew sub as I only ever downloaded database once.
I'll just delete a few of them then. |

Please don't follow the advice I gave in the thread from over 2 years ago as it is very outdated, there are considerably better ways of achieving spoken alerts using the Speed Camera Database these days.
Once you have a subscription let us know which type of speed camera download you have decided upon and then we can advise on the newer methods of spoken alerts - much easier than when you tried back in 06 - Mike |
