I have just taken delivery of an iGPS360 from Orange Gadgets https://www.orangegadgets.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1.
The device simply plugs into a 1st generation iPhone (or iTouch) and works. Maps are downloaded directly on your iPhone either by browsing [Google] maps at various levels of zoom on your iPhone using the compatible xGPS software or can be downloaded using companion Map Manager software on your PC (or MAC or Linux).
First impressions are very good. |

Foolish not to though, it's painless to do, doesn't damage the phone, gives you access to a vast range of free software just as good as Appstore stuff and you can very easily return your handset to standard if you wish. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Aye, Bedbug posted this a month ago.
Point still remains, GPS wow, but no turn by turn routing on "i" devices.
Jailbreak is fine, but be prepared to re-fix the "i" with every firmware update.
RBS = repetitive ball-ache syndrome. |
