I am running Home v2.4.0.104 with a GO 940 running Navcore 8.204 on maps 815.2003, Windows XP.
The GO is 2 days old and Home has updated the Navcore version and has also given me the latest map using the guarantee. All well and good. But...
When I connect using Home and use the "Operate my GO" option I get a message that this function is not yet supported for my device. All other options work fine.
It wouldn't be a problem, except that it has removed the security password that I have set, and this can only be accessed using Home (as far as I am aware).
I have removed Home and deleted all prefetch files before installing it again, but the same issue persists.
Anyone any ideas? Thanks as ever in advance. |

Tried that on my 540 - it said it had to download a file first....which it did, and then it worked. I'm guessing that perhaps they haven't written whatever that download is for the 940. |

720 with all same updates as you, when I launch Home and try and connect , Home crashes and sends a report to Apple. My security code has been wiped as well from the TT so at least I can use it, but can't put in a new code of course.
Other aspects of home seem to be OK. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

I have the same problem on my 540 also. When I'm asked to download the new file/update to run the 'Operate My Go' it returns an error message (missing URL) and won't download.
This happened before with my 730 and I left it a few days then it seemed to sort it's self out. I get similar messages when I try to log into HOME, usually resulting in me having to try 2/3 times.
On the positive side, I downloaded the 8.15.2003 maps last night around 22:00 and the 160Mb (I think it was) was downloaded and installed in less than 10min. _________________ Graeme Bennett

Thanks for the replies. I will try the patient approach (always useful with TT). It's no biggie other than losing the security code. |

I have the same "This function is not yet supported..." problem with my 940. Up until the most recent update it all worked fine. Seems to me that TT have broken something with the latest release.
I doubt this is just going to sort itself out. It will require TT to notice the problem and then fix it. Looks like others are reporting exactly the same thing on various x40's in the last few days. |
