Hi,
I would appreciate any advice on which of the two mentioned devices is better. I have had a Tomtom Classic for years so I would like to get a good replacement and I know any of the two would be an obvious improvement, but please advice.
Thank You....jiffers

Hi Jiffers,

Are you UK based?

I don't know anything about a TomTom 630, as far as I am aware, there is the 530, 730 and 930 in that series, any of which could be bought with the RDS-TMC aerial and would then get the suffix 'T'.

Would it be possible to give any leads as to the specification you have seen?

The GO 630 was introduced for some EU markets to meet a specific price point needed to compete. Functionally identical to the 730 it comes with an EU 22 Country map and not a Western and Eastern Europe (31 countries) or Western and Central Europe map as available on the 730.

Personally? I'd choose the TomTom out of the two. I've never really got on with Navigon's interface but others like it so it could just be me!

I'd also suggest you consider Garmin's products.
