My friends dad has a TomTom (not sure which one) with a speed camera database on it, when he comes up to a speed camera he gets a talking speed camera warning that says 'Warning Gatso ahead speed limit ??mph'.
Is it possible to get this on a TomTom One V3 as it is so much better than just the normal warning tone.
Thanks ![Cool](modules/Forums/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif) |

Yes it is possible, just use the ogg files and methods described on This Page, the files are available for download from the page I linked to. The Liz Whitt voice pack is a very good one and there is a free navigation voice pack that she recorded some time ago so you can have the nav and alerts in the same voice.
If its a One Third Edition then things are slightly different as there is no Change Preferences/ Manage POI/ Warn When Near POI Instead you just go to page two of the Change preferences menu and select Warn When Near POI - Unless you are running a custom menu, but spoken alerts certainly do work on this device - Mike |

The ogg files combined with the Speed camera database from this site will work on any TomTom device running version 5 or newer software - Mike |
