Could you put the pocketgps_ part of the file names at the end of each file? As I can't view the files fully on my Tomtom Rider V2 and have to edit everything to see them. Cheers Philip |

This would cause us massive support issues so the answer is no, sorry.
The filenames cause no issues on my Rider or TomTom ONE. _________________ Darren Griffin |

If you know how to make a batch file to change the names with each release then you can rename them yourself with a double click.
Open Notepad.
type in the following
rename "pocketgpsw_gatso.ov2" "Gatso.ov2"
replacing the first file name with the correct file name and then second one with the name you want.
Repeat each file name on a new line
rename "pocketgpsw_gatso.ov2" "Gatso.ov2"
rename "pocketgpsw_gatso.bmp" "Gatso.bmp"
rename "pocketgpsw_mobile.ov2" "Mobile.ov2"
rename "pocketgpsw_Mobile.bmp" "Mobile.bmp"
etc
Then use File, Save As... and make the filename "PGPSW Rename.bat" - make sure you add the .bat bit and don't add the speech marks ("")
Check the file is called PGPSW Rename.bat and not PGPSW Rename.bat.txt or PGPSW Rename.txt.bat. Store it somewhere on your PC.
Then each time you download the database, just uzip the contents, copy over the PGPSW Rename.bat file and double click it. All files renamed in a flash. |

Have you tried pressing and holding the screen then sliding your finger down the list? - the font size should change displaying all of the text - if the one you want isn't in the list slide your digit back to the top of the screen then use the down arrow to select the next items in the list before repeating the press and hold - Mike |
